2013 SENOIA RACEWAY RULES ARE POSTED (Not many changes)
(March 16, 2013) Senoia Raceway has released it’s 2013 General Rules & Division Specifications. The 3/8ths mile clay track just west of Senoia, GA, will operate on Saturday nights beginning in March and ending later in September. The weekly program will include the Late Models, B Cadets, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and Bombers. The Modified Mini will also join the racing action a few times each month.
“Not a lot of changes to the rules from last season,” said promoter Tim Moses. “We adjusted a couple of body issues, changed some language for better interpretation.”
The only visual change from last year for the fans will be the option for a rear tail piece in the Hobby Stock division and allowing the class to taper the rear quarter panels.
“Rule changes cost drivers money,” added Moses. “We felt good about our rules last season and did not feel there was any need to make wholesale changes this year.”
The Senoia Raceway season will open on Saturday, March 30th with competition in all divisions including the Modified Mini. Pit gates will open at 5pm. Grandstands at 6pm. Hot Laps will take place at 7:30pm with the first green flag of the season set to fly at pm. Pit pass prices and grandstand ticket prices will remain the same as they were in 2012.
