Saturday, July 28th is the 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Special at Senoia Raceway!  A full night of short track racing will be highlighted by the Newnan Bonding B Cadets competing in a 30-lap main event paying $700 to win (added purse throughout field)!

Grantville’s Blake Griffin will return to defend his Dog Days of Summer title from the 2011 racing season, but he will see plenty of great competition as current points leader Thomas Mewborn, Lake Spivey’s Dow Kirkland, Newnan’s Marcus Caswell and others will be trying to knock him off the top.  The Newnan Bonding B Cadet division has been one of the most competitive classes this season at the 3/8ths mile oval just west of Senoia, Georgia on Georgia Highway 16.  Tonight’s special event should be one of the better races of the season.

Also on the racing card this evening:  Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models; Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks; Mini Stocks and Bombers.

Grandstand tickets are only $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and five & under are admitted for free.  Trackside parking is also available.

Celebrating the Dog Days of Summer, Senoia Raceway will also be selling $1 Hot Dogs at the Grandstand Concessions.  Full menu of food and beverages is available.  Fans are also allowed to bring a cooler (no glass items please).

Kids giveaways, special food items and great family fun await you at Senoia Raceway.

Pit Gates open at 5pm.  Grandstand at 6pm.  Hot laps crank up around 7:15pm with racing set to go green at 8pm.
