The next three weeks will be exciting at Senoia Raceway!  Race fans and racers need to make plans to be at the 3/8ths mile bull ring for some wide open, pedal to the metal, short track racing!


This Saturday, May 12th, mothers are invited to join the fun and receive a FREE flower courtesy of One Rose Florist in Jonesboro.  All moms entering the grandstand will receive a FREE flower to begin the celebration of Mother’s Day this weekend.  Then the moms can cheer on their boys to victory with a full night of racing scheduled for the Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks and Bombers!


Double features highlight the action on Saturday, may 19th!  All divisions will run a pair of feature races with each awarding purse and points towards the year end points series.  The Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models will run a pair of 20-lap features with each race paying $500 to win.  The Newnan Bonding B Cadets and Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks will run two 12-lap features while the Mini Stocks and Bombers will run twin 10-lap main events.  Points will also be accumulated within the three night ‘Jewel Series’ events which will also include an event in July and September.  The top drivers in the ‘Jewel Series’ will also be rewarded at the end of the season along with the top drivers in the overall point series and rookie of the year winners.


Memorial Day weekend will bringa huge FIREWORKS sparktacular following the completion of the night’s racing action.  Race fans can watch the sparks fly in the Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, Bombers and the Modified Minis.  All the kids 12 & under will also receive a FREE ticket to the Thursday Thunder races at Atlanta Motor Speedway when they enter the grandstand.


“We have a big month planned for our racers and race fans,” said promoter Tim Moses.  “I hope everyone makes plans to be with us for some great short track racing action.”
