ROOKIE OF THE YEAR RACES COULD BE INTERESTING

There are quite a few drivers eligible for the 2012 Rookie of the Year honors in each division.  A driver who has not competed at five (5) events within their division over the past two years since the track has been switched back to clay will be eligible for the honors in the Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks.  The Bombers did run a points season either of the previous seasons and thus will not have a ‘rookie’ honor in 2012.  All drivers are also eligible for their points status in comparison to non-rookie drivers as well (i.e. if a rookie driver wins the points title, they would be rewarded for both titles).
