This Saturday, June 23rd, Senoia Raceway will crank back up with a special event for the wildly populat Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks.  The rough and tough division will be featured in a 30-lap main event paying $500 to the winner.  Clifton ‘Hog Head’ Moran will defend his 2011 Summer Sizzler victory as he attempts to hold off all challengers including ‘Rocketman’ Rusty Johnson, Kerry ‘Hop’ Carden, Bill Brown and top rookie Dusty Jones.  There is no entry fee for this special event that offers added purse throughout the field.

Also scheduled for Saturday night racing action is the Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models.  The high powered late models will once again be offered the bonus money from STO.  Saturday night’s fastest qualifier will have the option of pocketing an extra $200 from STO and rolling the invert dice or running the 25-lap main event straight up from qualifying.  If the fast timer decides to pass up the money, the $200 will be divided up equally among the top four finishers in the feature with the exception of the fastest qualifier.  If he chooses to not take the money, that person remains ineligible to receive any of the bonus money regardless of where they finish in the main event.

Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Mini Stocks and Bombers will be racing this weekend.  Points and purse offered for all five divisions.

The Kids Candy Scramble which was postponed last weekend will take place at 7:45pm just prior to the opening ceremonies, heat races and qualifying.  Kids age fifteen and under are invited to participate in the mad rush for free candy.

Pit gates open at 5pm.  Grandstands at 6pm.  Hot laps crank up at 7pm with racing set for 8pm.

Grandstand tickets are $12 for adults, $5 for children age six through twelve, five and under are admitted for free.  Trackside parking is available and tailgating is permitted.
