USCS SUMMER NATIONALS POSTPONED – Senoia Still Racing on Saturday Night
United Sprint Car Series promoter Pete Walton has pulled the plug on the double-header weekend due to the forecasted weather pattern. Walton chose to postpone the special two day show on Thursday afternoon after consulting with many of his travelling teams. The shows will be rescheduled for an open weekend next month. Details will be released when schedules can be coordinated between the series and tracks effected over the past few weeks with weather issues.
Senoia Raceway promoter Tim Moses was quick to issue a statement that the track will run a weekly sanctioned event with all regular classes running points events.
“Our Saturday night program will run as a weekly program with qualifying, heats and features for the Jodeco Auto Sales Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, Bombers and Modified Mini,” said Moses. “Gate times, ticket prices and pit pass costs will be the same as a weekly show.”
The pits will open at 5pm. Grandstand at 6pm. Hot laps will roll off at 7:30pm with racing at 8pm. Grandstand ticket prices are $12. Kids 6-12 are $5 while children five and under are admitted for free. Pit passes are $25 with kids 3-12 admitted for $12. Two and under are admitted into the pit area for free.
