The 2015 Senoia Raceway point standings have been updated after a wild week of competition on Saturday, May 2nd.  After all feature races were made official on Monday, the father/son duo of Joe Armistead, Jr. and Joey Armistead both currently lead their respective racing divisions.  The elder Joe is leading the Super Late Model point standings after a solid third place finish in the Spring Fling 40.  His son Joey rides the top of the standings in the Limited Late Models after his second straight runner-up finish.  The second and third generation drivers are from Senoia, GA.

The same is true in the Mini Stock division where the father/son combination of Dorough Bright and Brandon Bright hold the top two spots in the point standings.  Bright won his 19th career Mini Stock feature last weekend after James ‘Showtime’ Stansel was disqualified for illegal pedals.  Brandon leads his father Dorough by seventeen points going into this weekend’s racing action.

Other point leaders include the Alabama teenage sensation Taylor Mitcham in the Crate Late Models; Saturday’s Battle of the B Cadet champion Craig Scott in the B Cadet and Dustin Smith in the Hobby Stock.

A four car race has developed in the Bomber division heading into this weekend’s Bomber ‘Bonus Race’.  Derrick Matthews and Josh ‘Hot’ Roddy are currently tied for the point lead, but Winford Minix and Alex Rudolph are close.
